“STORES ADMINISTRATOR (STOREMAN) – LETSENG SITE”
An opportunity exists at Minopex Lesotho, Letšeng Site, for a Mosotho national to fill the position of Stores Administrator (Storeman).
JOB PURPOSE:
The purpose of this position is to issue and receive goods according to Minopex requirements and stores procedures.
MAIN FUNCTIONS:
• Receive and issue goods by verifying the various source documents to confirm validity of transaction.
• Ensure correct allocation, storage and stacking of stock items according to product requirements and sound storing practises e.g. storage of hazardous materials and the display of Materials Safety Data Sheet.
• Record and capture receipt on On-Key (PRAGMA) system to ensure accuracy and completeness of stock information.
• Print labels/barcode and tag item for correct stock identification and storage.
• Correct binning and storing of items according to stock system.
• Timeous and accurate picking of stock according to requisitions to ensure availability to internal clients.
• Perform daily housekeeping activities according to organisational requirements and standards.
• Perform cycle and stock counts according to company policies and standards or any Ad-Hoc counts
• Operate mobile lifting equipment for receipt and issuing of goods according to safety and operating procedures and standards.
• Inspect goods as delivered and ensure correctness as per the Purchase Order.

• Comply with the provided SHEQ and operational systems, practices, methods, standards and procedures, and legal requirements.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND TRAINING
• At least two years’ experience as a storeman
• Previous experience in engineering stores environment will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of On-Key (PRAGMA) system will be an added advantage.
• Valid driver’s license code B, EB or C1

OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
o This position reports to the Materials Controller.
o The incumbent will be expected to be resident on site at Letšeng la Terai, Mokhotlong.
o The position is permanent and offers a competitive remuneration package.
