The Lesotho National Development Corporation, a national implementing agency for industrial and commercial development of Lesotho, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Chief Executive Officer. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the new incumbent will be offered a 5 year performance based contract and will be expected to have experience, expertise and vision to take on the challenge of driving the Corporation to realize its strategic objectives.
Candidate
The position calls for a post graduate qualification in a relevant discipline. Exceptional business and management skills and experience, as well as superior interpersonal people management and proven leadership qualities are required. A willingness to take responsibility, make decisions within the defined authority framework, will be imperative. An appreciation of dynamics of change and how to cope with same without losing focus on the Corporation’s mandate will also be a requirement for the position.
The ideal candidate will have proven ability to work and conduct effective management of relations with both public and private sector stakeholders including international financial institutions.
A seasoned professional, with at least ten (10) years’ experience working at senior executive level is needed for this challenging position.
