CREDIT EVALUATION OFFICER
The Lesotho PostBank invites interested Basotho Nationals to apply for the Credit Analyst position , which entails, inter alia, analyzing credit information on current and potential borrowers and granting credit to legible customers and maintaining good customer relations with Customers and Sales team.
Reporting to the Credit Manager, the incumbent will among others perform the following:
Key Performance Areas
• Vet applications according to agreed and laid down procedures
• Process received loan applications
• Discuss credit related information within agreed SLA with the sales department and Branches.
• Identify, quantify and evaluate sources of risk in relation to profitability of business proposal and financial viability of corporation as a whole, interrogate information obtained to gain a thorough understanding of business parameters, which create profit / values as well as the associated risks.
• Advice branches/ relationship managers on all information related to loan Application requirements.
• Assess financial statements and business information to quantify and evaluate the risks and benefits of a business proposal, establishes risk profile of counter-party, and incorporate contextual industry risks, in a formal credit evaluation.
• Approve the facility conditions proposed by the Analyst or change them.
• Manage and communicate the risk associated with outstanding loans.
• Explore new, improved and alternative ways of offering solutions to clients.
• Ensure that the repayment process has been followed and repayments undertaken.

In order to perform this job successfully, the incumbent must possess the following;
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• BCom Accounting / Finance/ Banking /Financial Management or equivalent
• Diploma in Banking with 3 years Banking experience in Credit
• Two (3) years experience in the Finance Sector
• Two (3) years experience within a Credit environment
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
• Two years relevant corporate& Institutional credit experience in the Banking industry
• Exposure to credit processes & procedures
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Ability to read and interpret financial statements
• Strong organizing and planning abilities
• Good presentation skills
• BCom Accounting / Finance/ Banking /Financial Management or equivalent

CREDIT ADMINISTRATION OFFICER
The Lesotho PostBank invites interested Basotho Nationals to apply for the Credit Administration Officer position, which entails, inter alia, contain risk within acceptable parameters by maintaining tight controls over all aspects of loan administrations and by scrutinizing related reports.
Reporting to the Credit Administration Manager, the incumbent will among others perform the following:
Key Performance Areas
• Action the excess, arrear, provision and age analysis reports
• Prepare provision classification Reports
• Identify defaulters in the system and do follow ups such as sending reminders
• Liase with Repayment officer, branches and relationship managers to recover missing repayment/s and contact clients whose payments are behind or exceeded their limits.
• Secure payment and determine reason for non payment of account.
• Negotiate payment arrangements to cure non payment of the accounts
• Generate statements, reminders letters for approval by the Credit manager and delivering the same to clients.
• Responsible for following up outstanding debts pre lock ups from customers and meeting collection targets in order to maintain positive cash flow
• Check daily disbursement reports for any anomalies and file accordingly on the approved system.
• Prepare the call report on followed clients for repayment.
• Fill up the forms for client hand-over to lock up division.
• Hand over files of defaulted clients to Lock up division after three months of non recovery from clients.
