Qualifications and skills
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration or an equivalent qualification that is related to specialist training and development. Membership of a professional organisation such as the Institute of Personnel and Development would be an asset;
- Fluent command of both written and spoken English; and
- Computer Literate.
- Minimum of 10-years of general professional experience;
- Minimum of 5-years of project management experience and demonstrated management skills;
- Proven experience in all aspects of training needs analysis, and developing and delivering both technical and soft skills training programmes;
- Excellent organisational and communication skills; and
- Excellent analytical and document drafting skills.
- Minimum of 10-years of experience in providing change management support and advice as well as other capacity development initiatives;
- Minimum of 5-of the above years in a developing country environment (Sub-Saharan Africa experience would be an advantage);
- Evidence of for example, developing training needs analysis, training plans, training materials preparation, delivery (formal, on-the-job, mentoring), impact analysis, and drafting terms of reference etc.; and
- Experience in advising highest level of government officials and managers on capacity development issues.
