POST: NURSING SERVICES MANAGER
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a position of Nursing Services Manager at Maluti Adventist Hospital. The incumbent will manage the staff and operations of the Nursing Services (NS) programs, to meet the strategic needs of the health services consumers and Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) service standards. He/she will manage and coordinate the delivery of quality nursing services in compliance with local/national laws and SDA regulations and policies.
Key Responsibilities will include:
•Planning for and managing comprehensive and coordinated Nursing Services (NS) programs in compliance with specific regulations and policies.
•Developing, interpreting and enforcing Nursing Services (NS) policies and procedures.
•Providing leadership, supervision and accountability for Nursing Services and other health programs.
•Managing and coordinating the work of nurses, both in the hospital and Maluti Health Centers together with all relevant staff.
•Recruiting and orientating nursing staff.
•Providing consultation and advice regarding Nursing Services issues and leads the development of plans and interventions that align with Maluti Adventist Hospital goals and fiscal resources.

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS:
•Advanced degree in nursing plus 3-5 years of work experience in a fast-paced output-oriented environment.
•Experience working in management or similar environment
•High level of proficiency in relevant computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
LICENCE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Must obtain and maintain registration with Lesotho Nursing Council and be a member of a professional association
ADVANTAGES

•Experience living and/working in developing countries
•Prior experience in Nursing Management and Education
SALARY
Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
