The successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. Telephone duties
Answer telephone, screen and direct calls
Take and relay messages
Provide information to callers
2. Front desk PR duties
Front desk PR Duties are followed in a courteous manner
General inquiries are directed to appropriate staff
The movement of staff is maintained so callers can be told when they will be available
All visitors to the Office are greeted appropriately and made to feel welcome.
Tea or coffee is offered when this is appropriate
The reception area is tidy and welcoming.
3. Perform other activities as and when required
Educational qualifications and Experience
Diploma in Secretarial Studies
3years + similar work experience
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
Knowledge of computers and relevant software application
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
Ability to work a switchboard.
Skills and competencies
