BRAND MANAGER – COMPLIMENTARY BEVERAGES

Maluti Mountain Brewery is the biggest manufacturer of quality alcoholic beverages and soft drinks in Lesotho. The company subscribes to world class quality standards in manufacturing and distribution of its products. An opportunity exists for a talented individual who wish to develop a career in this exciting industry as Brand Manager – Complementary Beverages.

KEY RESULT AREAS AND OUTPUT
1. Conduct Opportunity Assessment
• Analyse specific profit tools and value drivers
• Evaluate competitive position as it relates to the category
• Contribute to opportunity identification in line with business goals and targets
• Analyse and refine relevant opportunities
• Develop and communicate winning strategic plans
• Apply segmentation as a tool to define current and future gaps and opportunities
• Match brands/ packs to segments and channels

2. Conduct Activation Development and Execution
• Brief , develop and execute inspiring & impactful communication
• Develop 360-degree integrated activities leveraging creative platform across consumer touch points
• Apply project management skills to deliver activation on time & on budget
• Ensure clear communication of activities & execution standards to Channel & Sales
• Foster effective multiagency team relationships

3. Develop Insight & Learning
• Build relevant knowledge for performance analysis
• Use segmentation to assess needs, behaviours & insights
• Employ insights mindset to gain competitive advantage
• Use data to set brand objectives & KPI’S
• Track and evaluate strategy & activation

4. Deliver Brand Positioning
• Develop winning brand positioning
• Validate brand positioning and track equity over time
• Communicate the brand positioning to the business through strategy and activation

5. Manage Brand Strategy and Activity Planning
• Analyse data for insights & articulate brand issues & opportunities
• Integrate analysis and objectives with channel and set clear strategy for the brand
• Develop activity plans which deliver brand strategy and objectives in line with creative platform
• Deliver, measure and evaluate activities which win in the market

6. Deliver Commercial Value
• Identify value drivers
• Develop and manage brand budgets
• Conduct commercial analysis and create business cases

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Degree in Marketing AND at least three (3) years’ experience in an FMCG environment.
