Operator Trainer
The role
To facilitate/coach/transfer learning to ensure competence according to required unit standard.
This service is rendered to Sandvik Mining clients (internal & external), according to the following standards and requirements: Sandvik Mining requirements, OEM limitations, SETA and SHEQ standards.
Your profile
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
- Operator/Maintenance experience in production/construction environment
- Minimum 3 years experience & proven competence as operator/Specialist on Sandvik bolting products.
- Competent B – Team leader.
- Specialist in U/G Long hole drilling. (Sandvik DL products)
- Specialist with U/G Bolting operations. (Sandvik DS meganised & XLP products)
- Trainer/facilitator experience (adult learning) English Proficiency
- Experience in underground mining environment.
- Code 08 Drivers licence
- Be able to work flexible hours & travel
- Physical requirements: Red card (full assessment)
- Good distance coordination
- Quick reactions.
